DuPont Sustainable Solutions Receives CINE Golden Eagle Award for Harassment Prevention Training Course

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Jan. 11, 2011 – DuPont Sustainable Solutions recently received the CINE Golden Eagle Award for its new ethics and compliance training course, Harassment: A New Look. The award, a well-known mark of excellence and peer recognition in the video production industry for over 50 years, acknowledges high-quality production in a variety of content categories. Harassment: A New Look competed in the Professional Non-Telecast Non-Fiction Division.

Available in DVD and interactive e-learning formats, Harassment: A New Look uses a storyline approach to educate employees and managers about maintaining a respectful workplace and recognizing and deterring different forms of harassment.  It addresses newer forms of provocation such as digital harassment, bullying and the conflicts that can arise when multiple generations work together. The course can accompany the rollout or an update of an organization’s anti-harassment policy or serve as standalone training to heighten awareness. An alternate version that complies with California state law also is available.

"We have produced hundreds of training programs, and we always strive for a creative solution that engages the learner by entertaining," said John Forte, senior producer and director – DuPont Sustainable Solutions. "Learners identify with the characters in the story and are relaxed and open to learning. This is a very effective way to educate."

Harassment:  A New Look is the latest addition to an offering of ethics and compliance courseware launched last year and was developed with the assistance of legal firm Alston & Bird LLP.  Other courses in the series cover topics such as social media compliance, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, antitrust regulation, export control, records management and data security. Topics of courseware in development include changing wage and hour regulations, responsible business communication and conflicts of interest.
