VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., March 6, 2012 – DuPont Sustainable Solutions has extended its safety training offerings with Lessons from Miracle On The Hudson, a new 20-minute DVD featuring motivational stories from Captain "Sully" Sullenberger. Designed for use as meeting openers, the stories bring to life the safety principles that Captain Sullenberger believe helped him safely land US Airways Flight 1549 in New York City's Hudson River and save the lives of its passengers and crew in 2009.
With segments from Captain Sullenberger's keynote address at the 2011 DuPont Sustainable Solutions Forum in Virginia Beach, the DVD includes six short video clips. Themes include being prepared, investing in yourself and your values, teamwork, making safety a priority, the importance of competence, and communication.
Lessons from Miracle On The Hudson seeks to provide organizations with real and compelling safety messages for their meetings. Captain Sullenberger's messages are designed to help employees re-evaluate their attitudes, behaviors, and commitment to a safer workplace.
The DVD is available now in English and will be available in Spanish and Portuguese. Additional information is available by calling 800-861-2221 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. A free online preview is available at www.training.dupont.com.
